An Easter Bunny And Some Eggs From Lush

It seems like there is never an end to the new products Lush have hidden away. After bringing home various goodies from both their Valentine’s and Mother’s Day ranges, I couldn’t help but treat myself to some of their Easter range too. With new additions and returning favourites, why not pop along to your local store and pick up a fun alternative to chocolate!

I was pleased to see that Golden Egg made a reappearance - this year as a bath bomb melt (£3.95). After listening to feedback from customers, it’s now packed with even more golden glitter, so your bath is transformed into a sparkling, toffee scented haven. Sweet wild orange and bergamot oils compliment this nicely and add a fruity flavour to the mix. The classic fizzy core is surrounded by lashings of Fair Trade Colombian cocoa butter, which slowly melts into the warm water – perfect if you have plenty of time for a long, luxurious soak.

When time is of the essence, but you still fancy jumping in the tub, the Fluffy Egg Bath Bomb (£2.95) has got you sorted. Another returning favourite, this gorgeous delight fizzes in double quick time to give you bright pink water and a delicious candy scented aroma. For those of you familiar with the bestselling Christmas ‘Snow Fairy’ shower gel, this is the treat for you! With an identical scent, this is the only way I can get my fix while I count the days, waiting for the next festive period!

The last of my purchases for today was the new Bouncing Bunny Shower Jelly (£3.95). Given that the Easter range is so ‘bath’ focused, I was pleased to see this wobbly new addition. Packed full of Brazilian orange oil, this zesty jelly is a perfect way to wake up in the morning. With only a small amount required for a generous lather, I’m hoping to make the little guy last a while!

With such an impressive selection of Easter themed products, I could have gone mad if my bank balance would let me! I know the kids would love to try the multi-coloured ‘Bunch of Carrots’ reusable bubble bars (£6.25), and there are also two larger, egg-shaped bath bombs, which are conveniently blue or pink (‘Humpty Dumpty’ (£6.95) and ‘Which Came First’ (£6.95)). Each of these can last up to three baths and both contain a wee surprise hidden in their centres!

Has anything else caught your eye in the new range? Once again, a couple of gift sets include exclusive products which are not available for individual purchase – perfect for treating yourself, or someone else, to some egg-cellent goodies!
